A short hike in one of Ashland County's many nature preserves. Please read the full description for instructions regarding parking.
This cache was placed with permission from the Ashland County Park District. It is located in the River Walk Natural Area along the Jerome Fork of the Mohican River. Bugs can be plentiful in the summertime (hence the name, provided by our four-year-old) so wear repellant or cache on a breezy day -- or do both. The cache is not far from the trail, so there's no need for bushwhacking.
UPDATE, 10/18/2012: An owner of property adjoining the county park has filed a complaint regarding cachers trespassing as they shortcut toward the cache. Please respect their property and privacy -- USE THE POSTED PARKING COORDINATES FOR ENTRANCE INTO THE PARK.
