This is our first cache, and we placed it in an area that could be approached from several directions, near a few well-marked paths and ponds emanating from the Neponset River. The cache is hidden under some cover, about 20 feet from one of the paths. There is parking at Walpole High School on Common Street and in a parking lot on South Street, and the cache location is less than half a mile from either parking area.
The cache is in a green ammo box, and it (inaugurally) contained a disposable cache-camera (CacheCam #1), a logbook, some balloons, a lantern key ring, a phone cord detangler, and some baseball cards.
