An interesting ruin in Warby Ovens National Park, found when I was making an orienteering map of this area in the 1980s.
Whether this is a hut or a bit of a stone sheep-pen, its quite surprising to come across in the middle of some thick undergrowth. Theres a fence running along one side from the days when stock were grazed in the Warbies. Ned Kelly and his mates may well have been here! Park at the juction of Booth Rd and Hoysted Track, and its about 400m walk in. National Park so NO DOGS! Cache when placed was a small Systema container with a log, pencil and a few coins. NOTE you may pass close to or through a cinnamon fungus affected area on the way to this one - please obey road closure and quarantine signs and be prepared to clean your boots with bleach after returning!
