Sproule Creek
Falls
Over the millenia, a creek can carve a path right through solid
granite bedrock. Sproule Creek provides a perfect example of that
here.
There is a fairly overgrown path that leads from the parking
area up the right hand side of the creek. The path is more
maintained by deer and elk than humans. Once you get the trees, it
gets a bit more obvious but there are some downed trees across the
path.
Just past the cache, you can clamber down right to the creekside
at the bottom of the falls, but that would be a 4.5 terrain rating
so please be extremely careful if you go further after finding the
cache.
The GPS can be a little wobbly with the cliffs and trees, so let
your geo-senses guide you!
