Burlington Beach

We kind of wanted to call this More Cowbell - Six feet Under, but you'll just have to keep the more cowbell part in mind as there is another 'more cowbell' cache nearby.....
This could be a bit challenging depending on your abilities and some other factors like the weather and the season... It took more work to place it than we thought it would. It will also be a fair amount more difficult to locate when the swimming area caution buoys are not in the water.
Please Note !!
The cache is not related to the navigational buoys at all..... geocaching.com rules required that we not place the container relative to any temporary object, which the buoys unfortunately are....
The buoys are near enough to use as a 'frame of reference' on the otherwise featureless water, but that's it....
Our suggested technique for finding this would be to use some kind of flotation source, in combo with a swim mask, to scan the bottom... while scanning, keep your search pattern on track using the GPS, the tower, and the buoys....
Bring a friend !!, it'll be fun... (and safer too.)
The cache itself is located inside a construction brick.... It is held in place by its buoyancy up against the 'roof' of the brick and prevented from floating away by a screw barrier.... there is no physical attachment to the brick, it just rests inside..... please screw the lid back on securely so no water enters, and replace carefully as found, so it doesn't float away...
also, please try not to get the interior wet.... the log is made of waterproof paper, but why temp fate....
And, it really is where the map and your GPS says it is.... about 300 meters or so out.
Stay Safe !!
