La costa di Castellammare del Golfo é molto frastagliata e varia nonchè vasta. Nel suo molteplice sviluppo rende molto attraente e poetico il paesaggio ed il litorale tanto che possono soddisfare i numerosi turisti nei loro gusti ed attrattive. Vi si notano piccole penisole e promontori, altipiani e varietà di spiagge. Il turista puo appagare tutti i suoi desideri e tutte le sue spettative relative al mare; trova la spiaggia sabbiosa con i suoi bassi fondali della Plaja, che potrà essere utilissima per il bagno di mare e per il bagno di sole grazie alla sabbia dorata; trova la spiaggia ghiaiosa a Petrolo, a Marina Grande, a Guidaloca che, con diverse caratteristiche, possono venire incontro ai piú esperti nel nuoto ed infine, alla spiaggia di Scopello, celebre per i suoi faraglioni, e alla spiaggia di Mazzo di Sciacca. Oggi è molto facile accedere a dette spiagge con mezzi motorizzati, mentre a piedi si può accedere alle spiaggette della Campana, di Petrolo e della Marinella.
