Our first placed cache and it really is Swindon's hidden gem. Plaum's Pit is a beautiful place to take a walk or picnic and so few people know it even exists!
I'd lived in Swindon for several years before I discovered Plaum's Pit and, indeed, my partner had grown up here and never heard of it! It's the perfect place for a stroll around the lake, a scramble about in the woods, a picnic in the sun, or, of course, some caching! The other cache on this site has fantastic historical information on its details section so be sure to check that out too!
This is the first cache we've placed and much fun was had in sourcing inventive camouflage! We've put a disposable camera in the cache as we'd love visitors to take a shot of themselves so we can see who's been by when we get it developed! Also in there upon placing the cache was the trackable Mother Clucker, a prize for First to Find, log book, pencils and something for you to swap something in with.
