This is the first cache placed by the Grimpeurs du Marsh and is placed on the Romney Marsh along National Cycle Route 2. This is an easy find and could be done as a cache & dash although we would recommend that you approach the cache by bicycle. The marshes are very flat and the roads are generally very quiet which is why we like cycling there so much. The marshes are largely unspoilt and wild life abounds. It is not uncommon to see Swans, Herons and Kingfishers around this area.
The cache is a 1.1 litre click & lock container wrapped in camo tape.
When placed it contained 3 travel bugs, a few marbles, a novelty bracelet/pen, a novelty eraser, a new golf ball, a red gel pen along with a log book pen and paper. Also for the First to Find there's a FTF Keyring.
