When I was young, I could hardly wait for Spring time. Now it's true that I have never been a cold weather person, but that was not the reason. Spring time not only brought warm weather, but it also was the start of the new Baseball season and I love Baseball.

I could hardly wait to get back on the field. If I wasn't at Baseball practice or playing in a game, I was out somewhere playing a sandlot game with friends. Just like "Mr. Cub" Ernie Banks, I was always ready to "Play Two" meaning I always wanted to play a doubleheader. I could never get enough and even today love to watch a game either in person under the night sky or on TV.
