On Acton Rd. Not on church property or in the cemetery,just passed it all on edge of road.This is an active church. If there are cars parked in the lot, please wait to retrieve this one.This was the last cache in the series we placed. Imagine our surprise when we ventured down this road and actually discovered something of interest!!This church is on the National Historic Registery. The sign in front reads, Congregation was organized in 1805. Was an integral part of antislavery movement on Underground Railroad.Fugitives hid in the loft of church until they could be taken to next station, Frankfort or Chillicothe. This is a beautiful church and a pretty eerie cemetery. Wish I had brought the camera along. Use stealth. Sunday might not be a good day, unless it's later in the day.
