[JLX.08] Fiumara Traditional Cache

Dovendo giocare, perchè non iniziare dal Centro Divertimenti Fiumara, uno dei principali centri di incontro ed aggregazione genovesi, in uno dei più popolosi quartieri di Genova.

SAMPIERDARENA
E' il primo quartiere che si incontra uscendo dal centro cittadino in direzione ponente. Centro di origine antica, borgo di pescatori e agricoltori, deriva il suo nome dall'antica chiesa di San Pietro dell'Arena, divenuta nel 725 chiesa intitolata ad Agostino di Ippona dopo che il Re Liutprando vi depositò le ceneri del santo all'interno di una piccola "cella" (da cui il nome dell'attuale chiesa, Santa Maria della Cella). Il 2 febbraio 1131 fu costituito il Comune autonomo con l’elezione dei primi tre consoli, benché di fatto Sampierdarena continuasse a rimanere assoggettata alla vicina Genova. Nel 1926, in occasione della creazione della Grande Genova, fu annessa al capoluogo in virtù di una legge speciale insieme ad altri diciotto comuni del Genovesato divenendo quartiere periferico della città Dal 1936 (data di una riforma toponomastica) la denominazione corretta è: Genova - Sampierdarena.

IL CENTRO DIVERTIMENTI
Al confine occidentale del quartiere, nell'area presso la foce del Torrente Polcevera denominata Fiumara, dove un tempo sorgeva lo stabilimento dell'Ansaldo, a cavallo del secolo è stato edificato un centro di servizi, inaugurato il 28 marzo 2002, che comprende un centro commerciale con oltre 100 esercizi ed un centro divertimenti con un palazzo dello sport e un complesso cinematografico multisala, affiancati anche da alcuni edifici residenziali. Gli edifici del centro commerciale (che occupano il sito dove sorgevano i capannoni ottocenteschi nei quali venivano assemblate le locomotive prodotte dall'Ansaldo) sono stati costruiti ricalcando la struttura originaria dei vecchi edifici industriali demoliti. Alcune delle strutture preesistenti sono state restaurate e recuperate attraverso una integrazione che ha inteso salvaguardare parte della storia di quest'area, realizzando così un recupero funzionale dell'archeologia industriale del precedente insediamento.

AVVERTENZE E RACCOMANDAZIONI
1) RICOLLOCAZIONE DEL CACHE
Il cache è oggetto di frequente manutenzione. E' facile, tuttavia, incorrere in perdite o esposizioni eccessive ai geomuggles. Si prega pertanto, di riporre il cache esattamente come indicato nelle foto spoiler.

2) REGISTRAZIONE
La veridicità dei ritrovamenti è fondamentale per garantire una manutenzione programmata ed efficiente. Al termine di ogni sessione di manutenzione verrà pubblicata foto del registro delle firme. Verranno eliminati tutti i ritrovamenti che non trovino riscontro. Nessuna eccezione.

SAMPIERDARENA
It 's the first neighborhood you come out from the city center towards the west. Center of ancient origin, a village of fishermen and farmers, derives its name from the ancient church of Saint Peter Arena, the church was so named to Augustine of Hippo in 725 after that King Liutprand deposited the ashes of the saint in a small "cell" (hence the name of the church, Santa Maria della Cella). On 2 February 1131 it was formed the autonomous municipality with the election of the first three consuls, although in fact continues to remain subject to Genoa. THE ENTERTAINMENT CENTER
The western boundary of the district, the area near the mouth of the River called Polcevera, Fiumara, where once there was the Ansaldo factory, at the turn of the century was built a service center, which opened on 28th March 2002. It includes a center mall with over 100 shops and an entertainment center with a sports hall and a multiplex cinema complex, flanked by some residential buildings. The buildings of the mall (which occupy the site where stood the warehouses in which in the nineteenth-century were assembled locomotives produced by Ansaldo) were constructed by tracing the original structure of the old industrial buildings demolished. Some of the existing structures have been restored and retrieved through an integration that has sought to preserve the history of this area, thus creating a functional recovery of the industrial archeology of the previous settlement.

WARNINGS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
1) REPOSITIONING THE CACHE
The cache is subject to frequent maintenance, however, it is easy to incur losses or excessive exposure to geomuggles. So please put exactly where indicated in the spoilers.

2) LOGS
The truth of the founds is very important for a scheduled and efficient maintenance. At the end of every maintenance session a logbook photo will be published. Every found which does not match the logbook will be deleted. No exception admitted.
