Geocache Description:

Annual International Coastal Cleanup:
do something positive to reduce marine debris.

Sept. 17 is International Coastal Cleanup Day, All over the world, people will gather on beaches to pick up a bit of trash. It's a great way to engage with your community, and can serve as an act of solidarity with environmentalists across the globe. Let's get together and do our part to protect our beaches and marine wildlife.

We enjoy are coastal areas all the time here in South Florida. Whether we are spending the day at the beach with loved ones, grabbing a tan or searching for a cache. Coastal debris is not only ugly, it is dangerous to wildlife.

We will be meeting at the posted coordinates at 7:30am to sign the official logbook. We will meet after the CITO for a group photo.

The park requires submitting volunteer registration forms. Fill out the form and email it to me. I will submit them as a group. Otherwise, print, sign and bring the registration form with you the day of the event.
