Geocache Description:

One of the best ways to spend a free half day in Hong Kong is to go up the mountain over the city, and look at the skyscrapers first from the bottom (Central or Almiranty), then from middle height (while in the Tram), and finally from above (Tram Peak terraces, the best view together with that of the other side of the Bay.

Starting from the upper station of the tram, take a gym path and be guided by your GPS. At the recreation area you will find the crossing of many paths. Follow the easy or difficult one according to your type:

Slightly adventurous, mountaneer, nature lover: without doubt, your path goes upwards straight ahead, beyond the signal of No Climbing. Stop at the big stone and seek the geocache, without using the hint.

Sensible, with more common sense than me, not fit, or just using business shoes: the new paved path also recommended by the park authorities. At a point, the GPS points to your right and you just descend the upper part of the old non-paved path until the big stone, then search. The ancient path down is somehow covered with bushes for the last 25 m.

Afterwards continue enjoying awesome views at the High West Peak (Sai Ko Shan, 493 m).

Cache placed on 16.1.02, last replaced on 25.1.14. Thanks Emilie!
