Tra le varie testimonianze archeologiche nel territorio di Sesto Fiorentino vi è una Villa Romana, un'azienda agricola in uso per un lungo periodo compreso fra la fine del I sec. a.C. e la fine del III sec. d.C. L'edificio comprende due impianti funzionali: la parte residenziale, o "pars urbana" dove risiedeva il proprietario, la parte urbana, o "pars rustica" dove si svolgevano le attività dell'azienda.
In loco vi sono vari pannelli descrittivi che danno maggiore dettaglio informativo.

Alle coordinate del listing troverete qualche indizio per raggiungere la vicina area archeologica che ha la curiosa caratteristica di essere "underground", quindi non direttamente raggiungibile con il gps, trovata la villa per trovare il cache dovrete utilizzare la mappa sottostante/allegata!

L'accesso è gratuito ma possibile solo nei seguenti orari: 08:00 - 23:00 dei giorni feriali e talvolta di domenica

Among the various archaeological sites in the territory of Sesto Fiorentino is a Roman villa, a farm in use for a long period between the end of the first century  B.C. and the end of the third century  A.D.
The building comprises two functional systems: the residential part, or "pars urbana" where the owner resides, the urban part, or "pars rustica" where they carried out the activities of the company.

At the coordinates of the listing you will find some clues to reach the nearby archaeological site which has the curious distinction of being "underground" so not directly accessible by  GPS. As you found the villa  you will need to use the map below / attached to find the cache!

Access is free but available only in the following hours: 08:00 to 23:00 on weekdays and sometimes on Sunday
