Cache Addiction – DNF!!!

Do you have a problem with geocaching? Are you a geocache addict? Only you know the answer. Here are some question to help you figure it out:

1. Have you missed classes or work because of geocaching?
2. Do you use geocaching to help you relax?
3. Does your spouse waking you up from a nightmare asking what do you mean where is it make you realize you were dreaming of your first DNF?
4. Do you find yourself looking at license plates and wondering if they are trackable items?
5. Do you have a trackable item on your person at all times? (car keys, necklace, tattoo)
6. Do you check geocaching.com first thing in the morning or last thing at night to make sure you get first stab at FTF?
7. Do you get wistful standing in the Tupperware aisle?
8. Do you find yourself lifting lamp skirts in parking lots just to check to make sure there isn’t a cache there?
9. Do you pick your vacation and travel routes based on cache density?
10. Do you stop at rest areas just in case there is a cache nearby and if not then take the opportunity to place one yourself?
11. Do you hesitate before throwing away ANY kind of container because it could be useful?
12. Do you want to rush out and find this cache?

We all know there are those among us that when they are looking at a page showing their nearby caches see a perfect page of finds. Then a new cache comes alone and spoils the page. It sits there teasing you, taunting you to come find it.

The questions are: are you addicted to caching? Can you prove yourself free of the caching addiction? Can you resist searching for this cache? You have nothing to gain. There is no breathtaking view. There is no cool first to find token. The container isn’t big enough to hold trackables. In fact, it doesn’t hold any swag at all. It is in a parking lot, just sitting there testing your mettle.
