Located along the Big Sioux River bike path in Sioux Falls, SD. This is a family friendly and great first time cache.
First item is to thank Random Line and Lobo for placing this cache! What a great location. These two have since left the area, and with their blessing, we’ve volunteered to maintain this cache. Enjoy the hunt.
This regular cache is an orange Rubbermaid container that is surrounded by native pink quartzite. You can walk to the cache by taking the high trail or the lower path…either way… watch for muggles riding the steel monster or trolls hiking the river bank! If the muggles don’t see you, the skeeters will, so bring along bug spray for this hunt. Check out the travel bug history and you'll see that this is a great location for dropping these little travelers.
This cache is located above the normal high water line of the Big Sioux River…but is has been known to get it’s feet wet when the river leaves it’s banks. We’ll try and keep it dry but let us know if it gets wet! Thanks for your help keeping this cache well hidden and safe from roving muggles and cache collectors of the world.
