Celebrate biodiversity!

The co-existence and interactions between the physical world and the multitude of plants and animals (including man) defines the many landscapes around us and the biodiversity within. This river, the Birs, has recently been beautifully renaturalised, creating many different habitats.

Take time to enjoy and value biodiversity. While searching for this cache, look out for orchids, (signs of) beavers, kingfishers and other wildlife.

OCTOBER 2014. THE CACHE HAS A NEW LOCATION. I'M FED UP WITH IT DISAPPEARING SO OFTEN, SO I'VE MOVED IT A BIT FURTHER AWAY FROM THE PARKING AREA (AND RAISED THE TERRAIN TO 2). THIS IS THE LAST TIME I'M GOING TO REPLACE THE CACHE: IF IT IS TAKEN AGAIN I WILL JUST ARCHIVE IT

Dieser Fluss, die Birs, ist in den letzten Jahren renaturalisiert worden. Deshalb sind viele verschiedene Lebensräume kreiert worden. Nehmen Sie sich Zeit, um die Biodiversität zu geniessen und zu schätzen. Wahrend Sie nach dieser Geocache suchen, halten Sie Ausschau nach Orchideen, (Spuren von) Bibern, Eisvögel und viel mehr.

OKTOBER 2014. DER CACHE HAT EIN NEUER PLATZ. ES NERVT MICH, DASS ER SO OFT VERSCHWINDET. DESHALB HABE ICH IHN WEITER VON DEM PARKPLATZ UMPLATZIERT (AUCH "TERRAIN" AUF 2 ERHÖHT). DAS IST DAS LETZTE MAL, DASS ICH IHN ERSETZE. FALLS ER NOCHMALS GENOMMEN WIRD, WIRD ER ARCHIVIERT.
