This cache is part of a series of letterboxes I will leave in
countries I visit as a thank you for all the great caches! This is
the first of the series. I have arranged for my cousin to take care
of this cache when I'm gone. This cache was posted with permission
of the municipality of Skarsterlân.
The cache is not located at the posted coordinates but it will take
you in front of Herema State, your starting point to finding this
cache.
Note that Herema State is open from 7 am to 11 pm.
To start head to stage 1 which is at N 52 58.218 E 005 47.417. From
stage one the cache is located about 50-60 meters away.
Once there search for a park bench, which is hidden by time. From
that bench you should be able to see the nicely tended green space
as well as other benches.
Next find the King of Stumps, he is not the one with the treasure
but you are close.
After you greet the King, the King will direct you to one of his
subjects who holds the treasure.
Please re-hide as you found it, as this is a letterbox hybrid, do
not remove the stamp from the cache. The cache is filled with
Canadian themed items but there is no need to stick to the theme
but I welcome you to leave items of the countries you are from.
Please note the stack of postcards ARE the logbook, so please do
not take them.
