This Canoncito Cemetery in Bernalillo County has 66 known burials plus some possible unknowns. The earliest burial was in 1893.
Access to the cemetery up Cole Road is rather difficult, trespassing on a private road with very visual 'threatening' signs. The logical way to get there is by hearse....
In order not to intimidate cachers and in respecting the owner's wishes, this hide was placed downhill from the cemetery and near the grounds of the San Lorenzo Catholic Church on Canoncito Road.
