Geocache Description:

The terrain rating is due to needing a boat - or a really bad drought year - to get to the cache.

I learned to ski on Trinity Lake in April when I was 13 – yes, the outboard motor existed then. Early on, I took the future Mrs. L2R boating and taught her to ski. The lakes are our playground and so it continues with our kids.

Live_2_Run, Mrs. L2R, and I take turns wakeboarding, GeoGirl gets air on her kneeboard, then we find a cove where the kids and Dogzilla can swim and play. This particular day, I brought a cache along. Saw a cool rock formation and a nice cove to park the boat. Live_2_Run and I explored this island and found a nice cache stash. GPS should be within 4 feet and the hide is not difficult.

The title is another reference to a song by a favorite band I saw at the Santa Cruz Civic many years ago. Can you name the band and song?

A growing number of caches at the lake to fill the afternoons when you’re too tired to hold onto a ski handle, the water’s too rough, or the fish aren’t biting. As always, have fun because it’s all about the journey.
