The Background The 30th November 2011 will be a special
milestone for me as I will turn 30 years old. I was wondering what
I could do that would be special to remember my birthday?
Geocaching has quite literally taken over my life over the last
year and I have made some excellent friends and met some wonderful
and interesting people. What an excellent opportunity then to have
a midweek event where caches new and old can get together and have
a good natter about Geocaching, exchange Travel Bugs and view
Geocoin Collections. I hope you will be able to make it and help
make my birthday extra special by being able to join me at this
caching meet.
The Venue will be the Cockhaven Manor in Bishopsteignton, which is
near Newton Abbot. The address is:

also available at the Cockhaven Manor, please call the number above

Time: 19:00 for 19:30 till 22:30
Children and Dogs Children and Dogs are both welcome at the
event.
Menu I have been able to negotiate a set menu at a reduced
price for those who wish to eat at the event. If there is nothing
on the menu below that takes your fancy then an A La Carte menu
will be available on the night.
Please can I request in your logs what you would like to order
so that I can notify the landlord in advance to help him ensure
that he has all the food in that he needs? This does not need to be
done until 48 before the event.
1) Steak Guinness and Mushroom Pie with Puff Pastry Top, New
Potatoes and Vegetables.
2) Chilli Con Carne on a bed of rice.
3) Beef Lasagne, served with Salad and Garlic Bread.
4) Peppered Pork Steak with Mushrooms, Onion Rings, Chips and Salad
garnish.
5) Ham and Mushroom Pasta Carbonara in a creamy garlic sauce
(Available with Courgettes instead of Ham as a Vegetarian
option).
6) Thick cut Ham, Free Range Eggs and Chips with Salad
Garnish
7) Fresh Vegetable Pancakes in a Mornay sauce topped with 3 cheeses
Served with salad and garlic bread.
8) Grilled Cornish Sardine Fillets with Salad, Coleslaw and New
Potatoes

1) Apple and Peach Crumble with Custard
2) Chocolate Cheesecake
3) Lemon Ice Cream with Fresh Orange
4) Sticky Toffee Pudding with Toffee Sauce
