Come join us at Newton Hills for a weekend of camping and caching (you could just camp or you can just cache, the choice is yours).
The fun will start on Friday evening at 6:00PM with a camp fire, and will continue through the entire weekend (ending by Noon on Sunday). Stop by any day of the weekend and say "Hello". Hunt down any of the caches in the area (there are many here). The CN's Strail power trail is located eight miles south of the park. Beresford and surrounding area has many caches and is located fourteen miles to the
southwest of the park. Then there is the large power trail GC Trails which is located seventeen miles to the west of the park.
There will be a Second Saturday Meet, Greet & Eat event on Saturday evening and a CITO on Sunday morning. Be sure to attend any or all of the events. We will also be hosting a campfire Saturday night. Bring your roasting sticks!
If you would like to camp, reservations are being accepted this year for this weekend. Please make your reservation ASAP for greatest selection of sites. We will be there Friday night through Sunday. If you would like to camp with the group, please try to reserve sites 97-110. camper cabins may also be availible for this weekend. As of now the camping cabins are all taken but there might be cancellations so keep checking the reservation site. Motels can be found in Canton, Beresford and Rock Valley to the east.

There will be ?? NEW permanent caches placed for this event. NEW permanent caches will be released starting at 10:00am Saturday morning. A note will be added along with any updates, so check this page often or put it on your watchlist to recieve any updates.

UPDATE
If it is raining tomorrow evening as predicted we will have the event at shelter #3. There will be some peach cobbler in the dutch oven and some other treats.
We also will load the new caches at shelter #3 at 10:00 am Saturday morning. They will all be published at 10:30 on geocaching.com.
