4.23. Unarchiving a Geocache

The archiving of a geocache is intended to be a permanent status. That is why only community volunteer reviewers and Geocaching HQ staff have the capability to unarchive it. This is done only in rare circumstances and only if it meets the current Geocache Listing Guidelines.

If a geocache is archived by a reviewer or staff for lack of maintenance it will not be unarchived.

Geocache Description:

Hello my name is Gretal. I’m the beagle part of this little outfit and I’m helping to hide another cache today to celebrate the removal of my stitches. It’s OK, it was nothing nasty. Me took me to the vet to have my teeth cleaned and a lump in my neck removed and I woke up minus two teeth as well. Things never go well when I go to see the vet !

Anyway, because I had to keep my incision clean, we came for our morning walk down this path to keep me from rolling in that exquisite perfume, Eau de Pooh by Fox. She was trying to keep me away from my friends too who come and greet me so happily she was afraid they may break my stitches.

There’s a much quicker way to the cache but if you and your pack want to have a lovely walk next to the stream then park here. S 34° 00.667 E 138° 45.503 The walk takes us a leisurely 45 minutes return if you follow the track to the end. Plenty of time for smelling everything and lots of trees for the boys to scent.
