Reasonable paths through woodland, although down a short slope from the nearest car parking to the cache itself. The cache is NOT hidden in any walls or the bridge structure.
This cache has been placed close to where we got engaged in 1999 (on the bridge) before we even knew about geocaching. The world has changed significantly since then and we now have two "junior" cachers to help with our searches. Thought other people might like to visit the area, where there are good views and you can get down to the shoreline of Windermere.
The cache is a small plastic container. There is limited space for swaps and Travel Bugs. Please make sure that the lid is replaced securely and appropriate camouflage / stones applied. The replaced cache (30/5/24) requires a short scramble however there are limited hiding places and should be easy to find, but please be aware that is in a high muggle area. GPS bounces around a little at GZ and published coordinates are an average of > 10 readings.
