**The Area**
Doncaster Lakeside is Doncaster’s most prestigious mixed-use
development site. It lies just one and a half miles from the town
centre and less than five minutes from junction 3 of the M18. The
centrepiece of Lakeside is a 20 hectare man-made lake. The
infrastructure and award winning public realm is in place and the
development is already occupied by over 500 quality apartments and
homes. The mixed-use site is also home to numerous leading
businesses. Other features include a well established leisure park
including the Dome - one of Europe's largest leisure centres, a
cinema, bowling alley, restaurants and supermarket. Plans are also
in place for water-sports facilities and a waterside
restaurant.
