Geocache Description:

A little micro near our home away from home in the summer.

The kids wanted to have have a cache near the camp we spend the summer at. Just a little camouflaged micro.
Enjoy the locks and other sights while you're here. Here is some information regarding the locks in general (visit link) and the Long Island locks in specific: (visit link)
Parking not too far away on Nicoll's Island Rd. Due to the size of the cache, you're going to want to bring your own writing implement. In the winter, I've been told that the container can be a bit persnickety to open. A pocket knife, pliers or screwdriver might come in handy. As this cache is on Parks Canada property, trade items are not permitted. Although, given the size of this cache, you'd have a heck of a time getting anything in there anyway :)

**NOTE: this cache is in a park area where families and fishermen often come. Please use care so as to not give away the location :) **
