Located on the very edge of Holly Hill Park, close to the River Hamble. This cache has been placed with kind permission of Fareham Borough Council, who own Holly Hill Park.
The cache you are looking for is a small square container, which is large enough to contain travel bugs, toys etc. It is hidden inside a camo bag.
This location is within 2 miles of free car parking. You may wish to park in Warsash, and stroll along the banks of the River Hamble (The Solent Way). This footpath, along the river, can give spetacular views of the boats and big houses ! It is flat, but in winter can be littered with some very large puddles, so be warned !
Alternatively, there is a free car park for visitors to Holly Hill (off Barnes Lane). Enter Holly Hill, walk down to the lake, and then follow the winding path towards the River Hamble. This route involves some hills and may get muddy in winter.
The cache is hidden approximately 10 metres from a path. There may be some nettles or minor undergrowth to contend with for this final stage.
