I forbindelse med utbyggingen av Risavika Havn ble det laget en grøntplan som omfattet blant annet tursti langs sjøen og gangbro over til Hestholmen. Turstien ender opp like ved flammetårnet som er et godt synlig landemerke i Risavika. Flammetårnet hører til et LNG-anlegg (LNG = liquefied natural gas - flytende naturgass). Da dette anlegget skulle bygges var anlegget svært omstridt og møtte mye motstand blant lokalbefolkningen.
Fra turstien er det god utsikt til LNG-anlegget og det tilhørende kaiområdet. Noen vil kanskje synes det er rart å legge en tursti til slike omgivelser, mens andre vil synes det er interressant å se området.
Cachen ligger på neset utenfor flammetårnet. Rett ved cachen ligger det en målestasjon for luftkvalitet. Denne er ikke i bruk på nåværende tidspunkt.
When the harbour area in Risavika was developed, a walking path along the sea was also built in addition to a pedestrian bridge to Hestholmen. The pedestrian path ends near the flare stack which is a quite visible landmark in the Risavika area. The flare stack belongs to an LNG (liquefied natural gas) plant. The building of this plant was debated a lot and met a lot of opposition among the townspeople.
From the walking path there is a good view towards the LNG plant and the belonging harbour area. Some might find it strange to build a walking path in these surroundings while others might find it interesting.
The cache is located at the headland by the flare stack. Next to the cache there is a metering station for air quality, however this is not in use at this time.
