A
short diversion from the Aviemore Orbital- you can view the view
and see Aviemore's true colours.
After a short ponder along the orbital path- you'll come to a spot
where the view is superb. The location is slightly raised above the
height of Aviemore and therefore you can see right across to Loch
an Eilien, the Laraig Ghru and, of course, Cairn Gorm. the view
also shows Aviemore as a small, slow-paced town nestled in amongst
the massive, drastic looking mountains.
The Aviemore Orbital path takes you around the back of Aviemore for
a short stroll along the path before turning back into Aviemore.
It's a lovely walk and from is spot- if you tried to count the
rabbits, well, you simply couldnt- there's loads of them so watch
where you're walking and putting your footing.
Be
careful for the muggles and please could you spend time replacing
the cache as it was found- with its carpet back in place- you'll
see what I mean.
I hope you enjoy the location- and a final personal
request- I enjoy reading your logs, so cold you please post
something more than a one liner of 'TFTC TNLN SL' etc. Photos would
also be a really nice surprise!
A huge thanks must go to the Forestry Commission
(Brian Duff in particular) for letting me place the cache. As
well as an even bigger one (round of applause included) goes to
Duncan and his team of dunk090 for maintaining my caches when I'm
not around- thanks dunk090!
The cache, despite being a 'small' it's really small
and can only hold tiny swaps and TBs!
Happy hunting,
