Geocache Description:

Act Naturally
you may encounter deers in this trail. But you have better chances to encounter muggles.

This is our first cache planting. I thought we would add to the fun by placing one of our own.
Located off a short trail at Birch Street Park in Salmon River (Municipality of Colchester County). Not a big park, but a neat little area. It has a newly built children’s playground, and a short walking path leading to surprisingly pleasant and well kept clearing closer to Ice Pond drive. The park is accessible from Birch Street and from a path on Ice Pond Drive and another path on Fir Avenue. Best place to park is on Birch Street which is closer to the cache.

Not a long walk to get there, located in a tree approximately 3 meters from the walking path nearest Birch Street. You may see a narrow animal path that will take you within 3 feet from that tree, so there is hardly any bushwaking. Tree cover and weather may affect GPS reading. On day of listing, the accuracy of the position was 17 feet and my best GPS indication was 5 feet away. Keep in mind that tree cover affects GPS readings and no two GPS will read identical, and readings vary from day to day. I will try to keep it as accurate as possible through frequent verifications.
Should be accessible in winter but heavy snowfalls may hide it completely.
This cache is made from a camouflaged Rubbermaid plastic 470 ml beverage. It contains several small items along with a log-book and pencil.

Congratulations to GWH Peter for his FTF. Sadly I missed including a FTF prize in the excitement of placing my first cache. I'll try not to miss that on my next cache.
