Here is a great view of the Ruby Mountains, Elko, and Ruby View Golf Course! FTF wins a little cash!

Placed with a great view of the Ruby Mountains, Elko, and Ruby View Golf Course! I spent many long summer hours working as a grounds-keeper at this golf course and have played many rounds of golf here. I would come up on these hills with my ATV all the time, just to sit and think. It has a special place in my memories, and it is a beautiful course! Enjoy the view!! FTF wins a little cash! Prior to 1968, the Ruby View Golf Course was located in the area currently occupied by Great Basin College, Interstate 80, Committee Against Domestic Violence Office/Harbor House, and the vacant properties north of I-80 between College Parkway and Skyline Drive.The old clubhouse is located at the intersection of Skyline Drive and Ruby Vista Drive. Due to the construction of Interstate 80 and the start of Great Basin College buildings, a new 9-hole course was opened for play in 1968 at the now existing Ruby View Golf Course site. In May of 1972 an additional 9-holes opened for play. The course consists of approximately 160 original acres of land with an additional 100 acres being acquired for future expansion. The current Ruby View Golf Course has been previously rated in the top 40 of 2000 public golf courses as surveyed by Golf Digest Magazine.
