I had planned on hiding this in route to ajay1's AWESOME cache to
maybe give a little more incentive for other cachers to make the
journey to his cache.
It is just a short jaunt to his from the highway with some dirt
logging road driving, and well worth the journey.
I ended up taking the wrong road to his cache so it is out a
little farther. No worries if you do the same, you can actually
make a loop, if you like. While making my way to his cache I
spotted Mt. Shasta in the distance. Today was not the best day to
view it as it was hazy. On a clear day with a good camera, I had my
geocaching camera, you should be able to get a nice picture of it.
Nothing nearly as picturesque as the views at the cache down/up the
road!
The road is very narrow with no pull out/shoulder but I dont
think that will be a problem as it is a remote "logging" road. I
think it is inactive as far as logging goes. There are shoulders
close by, about 300' to the east, and about 400' to the west of the
cache. The cache is right along the road so it should be a quick
grab.
Anyway, just a simple cache.
Traditional Rooks FTF. Ole Abe is there waiting to greet the ftf
:-)
Cool little crescent wrench as well.
Small trinkets otherwise.
Please bring micro/mini swag if you plan on swapping.
Log only, no pencil/pen.
Please be sure that all four corners of the container get
snapped closed, thanks!
Cheers
