This could be an easy walk if you approach from the right direction.
Alternatively, you can snorkel or scuba for about 200 metres through crystal clear water (they say on a clear night you can see the stars from 9 metres under water!). Make sure your GPS is truly waterproof!?!
You do not need to leave the path/boardwalk or damage any vegetation to retrieve this cache but muggles could be a problem.
Cache History. This was one of a number of early South Australian caches which were removed from National/Conservation Parks by rangers in late 2001. KarmiKev organised a cachers get-together (Australia's first, I think) and invited Department of Environment & Heritage representatives along. Once they realised the true nature of our game, and we were appraised of their areas of concern, they ceased removing caches. Since then no more caches have been removed without a request and reason to the owner. Our relationships has continued on a cordial basis since(it is now not uncommon to find logs by Park Rangers). Remember, cache responsibly and preserve this privilege.
