This remote geocache is a regular-sized sistema container in a
black bag. It is secured in place, so all you need to do is open
the bag to retrieve the cache. When you return the cache to the
bag, please ensure the opening is tightly closed, and facing
downhill to prevent the bag filling with water.
For Geocachers...
There is a logbook and pen for geocachers to log their visits.
Please only log in this logbook, and not in the logbook that is
there, and clearly labelled, for letterboxers. Do not remove the
stamp or inkpad - they are not for swapping!
For Letterboxers...
There is a stamp, inkpad and logbook for letterboxers. Please
stamp this book with your stamp, and do not stamp in the logbook
that is there for geocachers. Please do not remove the stamp or
inkpad from the cache. This letterbox is also listed on AtlasQuest
For Everyone...
You will likely need a 4WD vehicle, ATV or motorbike to access
this cache/letterbox. If so, then please be very careful
driving/riding on the beach:
- Be courteous to all other beach users and slow down when passing
pedestrians or horses.
- The speed limit on the beach is 60 kph.
- Be careful in the soft sand as turning sharply at speed can flip
your vehicle.
- Let someone know where you are going and when you expect to be
back.
- Do NOT drive or ride into the dunes as this behaviour will likely
lead to all vehicles being barred from the beach!
