Geocache Description:

An easy multi honouring some of Albany's shipwrecks.

Our cache named Lumper (coal) tells of the lives of the lumpers who shovelled coal into and out of the coal hulks which floated in Albany's Princess Royal Harbour.

The co-ordinates will take you to some plaques describing three hulks which came to unfortunate ends. To get a better view of the remains of these vessels walk up the steps and onto the little hill.

The cache will be found nearby at S 35 01.5AB E 117 52.1CD
Look at the plaques to find the missing numbers:

The Sarah Burnyeat sailed to Australia in 187A
The Fairy has B floors at the north end
The Kingfisher had C masts and was built in Scotland in 185D
