The site of this cache is a beautiful 2000 foot high meadow within an area that’s generally forested. There’s several routes that could be taken to this cache, all of them gravel Forest Service roads and not well maintained. Although a car could make it to this cache it would be better to use a pickup or SUV. The last 200-300 feet to this cache will have to be on foot.
Be on the lookout for deer, elk and other wild critters on the way to and from this cache. There was plenty of fresh elk sign in the meadow and I have seen deer, bear, elk and bobcat in the area.
The cache is in a square Rubbermaid plastic container painted brown and green. It blends in quite well and you’ll have to look right at it to see it. Just look around a bit and think where you would hide a cache.
