The Jar Tree Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

chjbundr: After prokudin posted the note about the condition of the cache, I prepared a new container with the intent of replacing it. Alexei and Tanya were gracious enough to recover the items and return them to me, and I thank them for that. When I returned to GZ to replace the cache, I surveyed the area and decided that while this run had been good and trouble free until now, the cut down shrubbery nearby had removed some of the cover for cachers. In addition, the namesake "flower" that got this cache its name is now gone also, and the maggot-infested deer carcass nearby did not endear me to this spot anymore. Alas, I am going to move on and place some caches elsewhere. I have a couple containers locked and loaded, just need to find locations. Thanks to all who found this cache, I hope they enjoyed it. -chjbundr

Geocache Description:

Cache is located next to ample parking and the muggle population is usually pretty low. May see and hear occasional passer-by muggles on the nearby sidewalk.

Well, after a long time of procrastinating, I am finally giving back to the geocaching community and placing my first cache. Constructive feedback will be greatly appreciated.

I had another name in mind for this cache when I first started scouting out a hiding place. However, in the process of searching, I came across this interesting specimen of native flora and decided that this was the place.

My posted coords are an average of several readings, as I did seem to get a lot of bounce from the tree cover. However, I believe the coords will get you close enough for geosenses to take over. This find is not hard and is a standard cache hide technique, but I think it is hidden well enough from any casual muggle eyes.

Congratulation to Talbysaurus for FTF!
