Geocache Description:

After such a large turn out last year we wanted to do this event again. There are new caches on this trail so come on back for another fun bike ride. This will pretty much be the same as last year. Look for more updates to the page.

UPDATE: The weather is looking much better than last Saturday. It will be a cold start (mid 30s) but will warm up to 50 by noon. Bring gloves for the hands they get cold while biking. We will have water, donut holes (munchkins) and coffee to get us started. Also if you are planning on doing all the caches there are at least two that it would be very helpful to have a flashlight for. There are still a few new caches waiting to be published (hopefully) so keep an eye out for them. Final note about restrooms along the way: there are none. However there are 2 places along the trail that you could take a short side trip. At "BT-Coast Guard Fleet" you will be along a road if you take this road east you will find a Foodlion and a Sheetz about a 1/2 mile off the trail. Also at "Bike Trail - Pick One" across the road is a little shopping complex you can see it. There is a Kings Pizza there. If you have any questions at the event be sure to ask. See you tomorrow!

IMPORTANT UPDATE ON SHUTTLE SERVICE: Would you like the freedom of not having to wait for the shuttle when you get to the other end of the trail? Because I have to shuttle my bikes to the start I will be passing by the parking on the final end twice. Once on my way to drop off my bikes and then when I return the car/trailer to that parking. (The wife is brining us back to the start in the other car). First pick up time is 8:00 (6 Seats) and at 8:30 (3 Seats).  You will need to drop your bikes off at the start and meet me at the parking (The End GC2KQ3M). Space is limited on the second trip so you need to contact me for those 3 seats. They are first come first taken by contact only. Email me directly: gr8caches @ gmail.com. I will confirm your seat back by email.

There will be an optional, post-event bike ride along the trail round trip or just one way. In fact if you want I will ferry you and your bike back to the start point. I plan on taking a nice long leisurely stroll of the 10.5 miles. If you would please indicate in your log so I can have an idea on those wanting ferried back to the start that wold be helpful but it is not required. I have room for 5 people (3 adults and 2 children) and 5 bikes each trip and can make more than one trip if you don't mind waiting. If you come to the event I hope you can join us on the trail.
