Church Micro 2090... Banstead-URC Multi-Cache

Banstead URC first started in 1940 when a group of local Christians felt it was time that Banstead had its own Reformed Church. This Church was formally constituted as Banstead Congregational Church in 1946. In 1951, the first buildings were opened. They now form the left hand side of our present buildings as you look from the front. A new and larger sanctuary was added in 1957, a further large meeting room (the Fellowship Room) in 1962 and the whole sanctuary and vestibule were extended and enhanced in 2000.

Number 2090 in this series is a simple offset cache. The micro is approximately 0.15 miles away.

The cache has a log book only but no pen so please bring one with you, tweezers may be required to extract logbook.

This cache was previously in a big tree nearby but it kept getting muggled so was moved August 2019.

If anybody would like to expand this series please do, I would just ask that you could let Sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication.
