The cache site overlooks the rock stack of the Castle of Yesnaby from the south. The walk in is fairly easy although the track is steep in places. Do take care near the edges of the cliffs. Parking available at the main Yesnaby car park.
The cache itself is a small click lock container and may take some looking for but do enjoy the views while you're trying to find it and please make sure the rocks are replaced - it gets pretty wild up here sometimes!
The sea stack itself has a large hole in its base and it's unlikely to survive for any length of geological time (it could be here for while in human terms though). If you look at the strata in the stack you'll see that it doesn't all lay in the same plane. This is known as cross bedding and the example here is thought to be evidence of an ancient dune environment. You can see more cross bedding in the cliff faces in the vicinity.
