Geocache Description:

Fun and easy caches for kids, or those new to geocaching!

This cache is one of the first in a series intended to be fun and rewarding for kids, or for others new to geocaching. They're not intended to be super-hard to find - in fact, just the opposite. They're relatively close to parking (so the walking distances are manageable for shorter legs) and it should be pretty easy for kids to get the payoff of making the find.

This cache is a large protein powder bottle covered with camo tape. Small childrens' toys are inside.

This trail, between Mastodon Ridge and the Stewiacke ballfield, is new. It offers a nice, easy hike from the hill down to the river, and on hot summer days (like the day it was placed), kids can play around the mastodon, have a game of mini-golf, and cool off with an ice cream cone.

The name of the cache ('not too hot, not too cold') is GeoEvan's creation, and is in reference to the fact that this cache is located exactly halfway between the equator and the north pole.
