Sub-Urban Pipe Dream #3
This is the fourth of the Sub-Urban Series of caches
The Sub-Urban Series takes us to examples of perfectly preserved ‘sub-urban’ environments where we can observe the local species in their natural habitat and further our understanding of the ‘Sub-Urban’ life.
This particular cache is at an amazing nexus of four cultural/sporting/educational activities - a combination not usually found in typical Sub-Urban sites and as such a very special and rare occurance. For these reasons please treat this location with extra special care so as not to affect the delicate ecological/sociological balance of the site. The site boasts a collection of mighty edifices recognising a) the importance of sacrifice for the greater good, b) the original people of this land, c) the future development of the children, and d) the health and wellbeing of the community. Quite a place....
The location is on a walkway that links between the Karori Pool carpark on Donald street and Campbell Street (next to the kindergarten). At the coordinates look for one of the items mentioned in the title- this is the outer cache- but then the problem is how to get to the actual inner cache (a pill bottle) to sign the log. You will need some toolage assistance to retrieve the inner cache. We've provided this right there, but hidden a bit so you'll need to do a preliminary hunt- don't drop them!. As always - there are two hints- the first quite cryptic, the second very specific. Use only what you need.
The difficulty rating as well as reflecting the camo nature and method of inner cache retrieval also recognises that it will take you a few minutes to achieve the extraction and those inquisitive Sub-Urban muggles can turn up at anytime from two different directions, and may interupt and even setback retrieval of the Inner Cache. As said on earlier pipe dream caches though, sometimes you have to work hard to achieve your Sub-Urban dreams- so don't get frustrated as you climb that ladder to success!.
