Tapeka Point is a major landmark consisting a large hill commanding views from Paihia and Waitangi across the Bay of Islands. The Tapeka Point community is accessed via Tapeka Road 2km from central Russell. This cache is located on the sandy beach at Tapeka Point. A great safe beach. Lots of grassed picnic area, a pontoon in summer. Please don't tell too many people about the magic of Tapeka!
