Geocache Description:

There's a little black box here somewhere in the ocean holding all the truth about us. There's a little black box a record of emotion ... A great song by Stan Walker. This little black box is on Fraser Rock. (Well it's not a little black box anymore, seems that one must have gone missing in a recent storm! It's now a little clear box!)

You could swim to this cache. (There is a writing instrument there if you decide to!) I kayaked up on to the rocks to hide it. There have been a few boats go down on this rock, even though it is lit up at night. The reefs at Tapeka Point have been guarded by the Tapeka (or Fraser Rock) light since September 1936. Fraser was Engineer Secretary of the Whangarei Harbour Board and responsible for the installation.
