Broxhead Common is an area of heathland north of Bordon. It's a great area for walking and enjoying wildlife. Broxhead is a great area to practice the geocacher's maxim of CITO. When these caches were set the original CO managed to pick up a carrier bag full of rubbish. Lets see if we can clean this lovely heathland up. Please note that it is a legal requirement under the Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000 that all dogs are kept on a short, fixed lead of no more than 2 metres in length on Open Access land between 1 March and 31 July. As a registered Common, Broxhead is covered by this legislation. These caches are set in an area that is that is designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). This cache is placed with the kind permission of HCC Countryside Service and Natural England.
