Geocache Description:

** CACHE IS NOT AT POSTED COORDINATES **

The bogus coordinates are for the nearby golf course.
There is no need to go there unless you would like to
try your luck with a hole-in-one on Hole
MMXLVII
It's the easiest hole on the course.

This geocache is dedicated to our caching friends of the CSRA.  Two of those friends, pilgrimsprogress, were kind enough to leave behind a little "present" when they visited Rome a few months ago.  In turn, Romans have now invaded McDuffie County and left a small token of their appreciation for all the torment enjoyment experienced while solving The Romans Do It This Way.

Oddly enough, the Roman numeral system does not include a zero, a crucial component of modern day's computational system. Another peculiarity is that, while whole numbers represented by Roman numerals are decimal, for fractions Romans used a duodecimal system because the divisibility of twelve makes it easier to handle thirds, quarters and halves than does a system based on 10. By the late 14th century, Roman numerals were largely abandoned in favor of Arabic numerals in practically all mathematical and economical applications.
