Cacaway Castaway Traditional Cache

Help rescue a castaway on Cacaway island in Lankford creek. The island is frequently visited by boaters in the area who sail up Lankford creek for the weekend.
During the most recent storm, a wayward traveler flew off course and is stranded on the island. She has taken up residence on the island and now protects her valuable “egg”. Come to Cacaway and see if you can get her to reveal her precious egg so you can sign the log inside. The castaway is located near the "beach" on Cacaway. If you are not boating up the creek, you will need to launch your small craft or kayak at one of the nearby landings in the area. For small craft with no motor, (kayaks or canoes) you can launch at Broadneck landing N 39° 07.801 W 076° 09.412 For motorized craft, the closest landing is at Cliff City N 39° 06.414 W 076° 08.525.
