Geocache Description:

This is an easy cache, with paved pathways leading to it. Only the last few yards could be muddy in wet weather. The container is a small clip -lid box covered in camouflage.

This is a local landmark intended to mark Newton Aycliffe’s industrial heritage and symbolise regeneration. The monument aims to pay homage to the ‘blood, sweat and tears’ of work and workers – a celebration of people who use their hands to ply their trade.
