To get to this cache, follow the field round to the right, keeping to the hedge row but making sure to avoid a pool of muddy water which is often blocking the footpath.
After our encounter with the cows, they slowly followed us, but had lost interest by this point. We were left to place this cache unobserved.
The site is the other side of the fence from Fental Lane, so please do not attempt to get it from the lane itself.
Fental Lane is very short, and probably used to be a drive to the farm at the end of the field. It now serves as one access to Stoke St Michael, skirting around the large quarry.
If you hear sirens, or loud explosions do not panic. The quarry carries out controlled explosions as a method of quarrying stone. You are safe, but they can be quite loud.
The cache is a clip lock box with space for trades and trackable items. Please return it as found, making sure it is re-hidden out of sight.
I'm currently looking for people who might be able to help look after my caches whilst I'm away undertaking a doctorate. If you think you might be able to help, please do let me know by contacting me at geocachingjohn@googlemail.com (If you can't help maintain them long term, it would be wonderful if you could take along some spare logs/pencils/etc. to keep these caches alive, just in case)
