Mario McTavish: I came out today to check on these novel caches. Unfortunately most are well past their best.

In some cases the 'novel' aspect of the cache was missing completely meaning that there was no theme to the container. Odd that the theme would disappear but the container remain...

In light of the missing themes and general 'tiredness' of the caches I've decided to archive them.

Geocache Description:

A small cache container with a hitch-hiker and log book but please bring your own pen.

Ok its not a novel but the container is!

This cache is dedicated to the biography of "Frances Bacon: Anatomy of an Enigma" by Michael Peppiatt. An in-depth account of Bacon's frantic and chaotic life as one of Britain's best known painters; it explains how & why he behaved in the eccentric way that he did. It's very revealing, right down to Bacons weakness for wearing women's stockings, to the slightly sinister way he treated his partners and people around him.

This "revised and updated" edition of Michael Peppiatt's 1996 biography of the painter Francis Bacon is a marvellous read.

The Novel Cache series is a mixture of interesting containers of varying sizes, some of which can accommodate small swaps and TB's.

We hope you enjoy finding them as much as we enjoyed placing them.
